We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Representative to join our team. As a Retail Sales Rep, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail environment. Your main objective will be to assist customers in finding the right products, offer product knowledge and recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and approachable manner, actively listen to their needs, and provide assistance throughout their shopping journey. Offer product information, answer questions, and provide recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.

2. Sales Generation: Actively engage with customers to promote and sell products. Utilize effective sales techniques, such as upselling and cross-selling, to maximize sales opportunities. Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.

3. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and stay up to date with their features, benefits, and specifications. Stay informed about industry trends and competitors' offerings. Share product knowledge with customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions.

4. Merchandising and Display: Maintain visual standards by ensuring products are properly displayed, organized, and stocked. Regularly check inventory levels and communicate with management regarding restocking needs. Participate in visual merchandising activities to create an appealing and engaging store environment.

5. POS Operations: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently. Process transactions, handle cash, and provide customers with receipts. Ensure all sales transactions are recorded correctly and balance cash registers at the end of each shift.

6. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Follow up with customers after purchases to ensure their satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Proactively address and resolve customer concerns or complaints.

7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and team members to achieve store goals and objectives. Share sales techniques, product knowledge, and best practices. Assist in training new team members as required.

8. Store Operations: Contribute to the overall operations of the store by performing tasks such as opening and closing procedures, inventory counts, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the sales floor.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Strong customer focus and ability to build rapport.

- Sales-driven mindset with a passion for achieving targets.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.

- Basic math skills and proficiency in operating a POS system.

- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy merchandise when needed.
